On Monday morning (8/27), NoRedInk experienced a two-hour period of downtime due to irregularly high traffic. Upon investigation, we identified that the traffic was generated by a third party in an effort to slow down the site.
The website first went down at 6:31 AM PT. NoRedInk engineers immediately began work to bring it back up. At 9:18 AM, the team finished a fix to mitigate the issue and the website was fully functional.
We recognize that the downtime may have interrupted class time, and we apologize for any inconvenience this caused. We have taken steps to ensure a service outage like this does not occur in the future.
